Nurses are in the practice of interacting with client from different cultures and from different field of life.Without considering their status, condition, and age, nurses need to provide them the appropriate cares that patient deserve. Nurses need to avoid the stereotyping and have to practice their professional being rational and unbiased. Regardless of differences and other consideration, nurses need to focus on the care giving. On the other hand the cultural universityrefers to relate the common things. These two are the major concepts which lead to the goal of theory.Both differences and similarities would be used as an effective tool for providing the care to the patients(Leininger, 1995).

Incorporating the concepts on universality and cultural diversitygives the recognition culturally congruent care and culture specific.The goal of the theory is to recognize the client's care which he needed for,as per their cultural need and then the practicing in the nursing care. In this way the nursing care would be given to the client. After thatLeininger refers to the decisions, cognitively based assistive, enabling acts, facilitative, supportive, in a way so that nurse would be able to provide beneficial, meaningful, and most important satisfying care by which the health could be recovered. This is the central idea of the Leininger's theory of cultural care.
