Should it be mandatory for the U.S. youth to serve 2years in the military after they turn 18?

Introduction

A military service is a special kind of public service. In order words, it is the professional service activities for the citizens of the state. Many countries had made military service as a compulsory service for their citizen. Countries like Mexico, Norway, Israel, Iran, Russia, Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Germany and many more had made a policy in which they have made obligatory for their teenagers serve their military for 2 years after they turn 18. In several countries, the services are for at least 3 years.

In some countries, especially males to a certain age seem to serve the military and after the training deployed in other countries like Cuba and Israel. This is also compulsory for women. However, some children are exempt from these services. These children are those who have certain physical or mental disorders or religious beliefs. In this paper, we will discuss that U.S should made military services mandatory for the youth to serve at least 2years after they turn 18, which will have a positive chain reaction on the American society.

Mandatory Military Services for the youth to serve 2years after they turn 18 will provide numerous benefits to the U.S along with the increase in patriotism and educational standards

Discussion

Countries that have made military services compulsory for their citizen proved that mobilization can be an asset to the society, military and conscript, if it is handled properly. The country enjoys many benefits from these mandatory military services. United States should implement this strategy in order to enjoy many advantages and improvement in the behavior of the youth.
