Discuss the concept of marginality and propose solutions to correct for it?

Concept of Marginality

The environments' modification to the best possible “comfort level” of the learners is emphasized in a great deal of literature regarding learners and educational environment. In nearly all debates of learning styles, the matching concept of comfort level often comes into view including hemispheric dominance, levels of cognition, sensing modalities etc. One of the types of learners is marginal learner students who go through great discomfort in their environments. Many educationalists are currently interested with “marginal” learners and are in search of means to create more productive school environment for the people who are reputed in the environment as marginal learners.

A condition, when a learner finds complexity regarding an educational environment and gaining from it then such condition is known as marginality. To some environments, learners may associate marginally. The potential array supposedly, is from none

to all i.e. productive association of learner to the exposed environment to non- exposure of a learner to any environment virtually that is fruitful for that person. Environments

are created by educators but learning is obviously not done by them, that is why the so much of the inconsistency is, itself, explicated by condition of the learner when the productivity of any specified environment is deemed. If the learner is marginal to a certain environmental setting then educational productivity, for that learner, is expected to be down in the dumps and, worse. Severe consequences are possible to happen if the marginality is acute. Frustration may occur to the learner and, most likely, perceives that in that environment, productive outcomes are not possible by him/ her. A possible offshoot lesson may be inferred by a learner from adequate experiences entailed by frustration that the educational process ...
