People take personality tests for a variety of reasons. Many psychologists and employers recommend personality tests to understand whether an individual is introverted or extroverted. Sometimes, individuals are curious about what types of people they get along with or wish to take personality tests to gain personal insight (Crist, 2003). Whatever the reason, if you take a psychology personality test you should use what you learn about yourself to make self improvements or changes.

Personality is an individual characteristic unique to everyone; we are all humans, but we are also all different. Society, family and distinctive life experiences help each of us form our particular personalities. Innumerable theories exist about the number of different personality traits, how different traits interact and why we gain such traits (Landis, 2005). There are many activities teachers, leadership consultants and other educators can use in the classroom to help determine the personalities of the students they are working with.

This analysis aims to evaluate the different personalities on the different criteria such as educational level, attractiveness, and political ideology.

My personality

Extraversion

The dimension of extraversion includes specific traits such as talkativeness, a sociable attitude, an active lifestyle and general positivity. Extraversion implies an energetic approach to the world. It also can be associated with leadership qualities, such as persuasiveness, and actively seeking dominance in social settings. Extraversive personalities become bored when faced with a lack of change in their lives (Byerly, 1998). Based on this attribute, I found myself as a social person. I like to attend social celebration, hang out with friends and participate in community gathering. It gives me chance interact with different people and like learn from them.

Agreeableness

Agreeableness describes traits that include kindness and affection. Agreeableness traits represent a person who is easy to work with and trusting. Social traits include patience and empathy, but they can be seen as being too soft in conflicts. Agreeable people lean toward conforming in group situations and possess faith in human nature (Scheinfeld, 1995). At some extent, I easily accept the others views, but in some cases I would not compromise. Therefore, I am a bit conscious about others views and their style of working.

Conscientiousness

Conscientiousness includes traits that are specific on organizational aspects of a personality. They include things such as extensive planning, organization and thoroughness. A high level of conscientious traits can help predict both school and job performance, compared to the other dimensions that predict performance in specific jobs only. A low level of conscientiousness, coupled with neuroticism, can help predict certain mental disorders (Landis, 2005).

In this aspect, I would say I rarely plan my work, and takes the things as granted. I believe in living today, and not worried about tomorrow. Sometimes, I plan but I do not remain consistent with my planning and change the planning very frequently.
