Introduction

The immense and amazing technological development experienced almost uninterrupted for medicine in the last decades of the twentieth century have led it to a serious ethical crisis clinic, complex and multifaceted commitment to society as a whole. There is a gap between the extraordinary technological advances and the lack of maturity of human consciousness to responsibly manage the risks of this knowledge. Currently, medical images have become indispensable in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, but in the rapidly changing environment and open social criticism which developed the practice of medicine will require developing coherent strategies for dealing the many problems facing medicine as a whole and radiology in particular, projecting and adapting to future requirements of the population (Shi-Bao, & Watson, 1999).

Discussion

There are several factors influenced me in starting a career in medical radiography. Hence, several things came under my consideration before starting up a career. However, the technical radiology offers for people who are interested in attending the next step of patients for the very technical aspects of medicine and have a solid background in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and biology, interesting areas of activity. The technical radiology, which is actually a technical medical radiology, is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients whose clinical picture and course based on a pictorial record of his body or parts thereof, for example by means of an X-ray apparatus recorded. In short, this means that the technical radiology has as objective to recognize the consequences of accidents and diseases and treat them (Shi-Bao, & Watson, 1999).

The work of professionals with technical training radiology is mainly the hospital, but sometimes it is also an institution or a professional medical practice, research or teaching. The educational and training opportunities in the technical department radiology are many. In addition ...
