Introduction

Curriculum development covers the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum including the involvement of people, procedures and processes.

Curriculum models though assist designers in systematically mapping out the grounds for the use of particular teaching, learning and assessment approaches, yet they overlook the humanistic aspect involved in curriculum making. (Ornstein and Hunkins, 2009)

Discussion

Although many curriculum models exist, emphasis is laid on the importance of planning curriculum design and selecting the approach that best fits college student requirements. Models are classified as Technical or Non-Technical.
