Mexican Military Service

In Mexico, military service was instituted in 1942 by then President General Manuel Avila Camacho as a necessary response to the Second World War when the country was involved, given the events that were raised before the sinking of oil tanker Potrero Del Llano and Faja de Oro by German submarines.
