Introduction

Michael Collins was born in Woodfield, Clonakilty, Cork, Ireland October 16, 1890 August 22, 1922, was an Irish revolutionary leader. Some say it was a bad guy, but in my opinion, was a patriot and dedicated to his country. Like his father was a member of the Irish Republic Brotherhood (IRB), which later became the Irish Republican Army (IRA). He has held many jobs as intelligence chief of the IRA, the finance minister, both as Chairman of the Provisional Government and Commander in Chief of the army. Collins In short life accomplished a great feat that no one could get other Anglo-Irish Treatywhich still take place today. (Green, 2004)

Michael Collins has been brutal tactics! He used ambush tactics, terror and brutality against the police mainly selective, but also against collaborators and the Irish Army to achieve its aim in Ireland as a free state.During the Easter Rising, 1916 Ireland were defeated by the army Royal British Crown, the participants were arrested, some were killed by death squads and the rest sent to an internment camp Frongoch. Collins was jailed for eight months, but if he had been identified as one of the participants who led the rise, who was killed as the others. Once he was released from prison Collins had grown to become a member of the executive of Sinn Fein and the director of the organization of the Irish Volunteers. After his release Collins every move was monitored by the British intelligence agency, Collins refused to fix exploit their enemies, and instead of being persecuted becomes the hunter. He watched his every move, even learned what they ate for breakfast.
