MILITARY OPERATION

Military operation is usually known by purpose of increased power security. Military operation is more common with the use of names in common use generally accepted, rather than their actual operational objectives. In recent years, the military establishments of the US and the UK have produced a series of reports that attempt to 'think the unthinkable' in imagining future threats to the security of the West (Alotta, 1989).

Many military operations have characteristics of process to be achieved by getting different milestones for the progress of the operation. Below is the list of strategic operation of military planning

Conception through the identification of specific goals or objectives.

Intelligence. Collected and analyzed to identify the capacity of enemy resistance.

Military planning and use.

Administration mobilization, equipment, training and deployment of forces.

Beginning of the operation and objectives of the initial tactical missions.

Defeat larger enemy forces in their operational depth.

Finish the operation if the planned goals had been achieved or not.

Historical background and junction operation

Military history is full of large-scale incidents of mutiny, desertion, cowardice, and repression that led to mass executions. Until World War II, did not overcome the traditional division of national armies in three weapons-land, sea and air. The advantage of undertaking activities that combine the three arms was seen first by the British Admiral Lord Keyes , who appreciated that, apart from the obvious progress in terms of the efficiency and effectiveness, a way to overcome differences and spread that marked the relationships between the three.

The head of combined operations was responsible for directing and coordinating a certain amount of units of the three arms of the Armed Forces, working on a narrow and well defined objective. Assisted by a staff that included official land, sea and air, the chief of combined operations should develop military plans of attack and defense on enemy coasts and particularly amphibious actions.
