The following paper focuses over the motivational levels in organisations, its importance and how does it contribute to the attainment of organisational goals. Moreover, it also predicts the concept of motivation in various fields of Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. Motivation may be defined as the ability or a feeling to work towards the achievement of a goal. It has a high importance in the business organisations. However, organisations also focus over the concept of goal-setting. Employees are always motivated by their goals. One does need intelligence and time management skills this all works when a person is motivated enough to achieve a target. Employees who have the interest to develop and grow are motivated and have a desire to acquire what they like. Such an Endeavour is possible when the organisation is supportive enough. Employees are given goals to achieve and with the support of their employer and through their motivation; employees are capable to achieve the desired goals.

Motivation has become a serious subject in the organisations. To remain competitive an organisation needs motivated employees (Karimi, n.d). The motivated and top employees of an organisation provide high levels of productivity and quality work. Employee motivation helps a business stay in the market. Demotivated employees lead to organisation fall. Employers must understand that different people are motivated by different things such as money, success, recognition, status, health and work-life balance. Organisations are required to motivate their employees at all times. People must be kept aware of not achieving the desired goals. They should not be threatened but motivated to achieve what is expected of them. Organisations give incentives to those who are able to achieve the goals which keep them motivated. Employees should be given the targets to achieve both short-term and long-term goals. Employees are often motivated to work in teams, as they receive team recognition on the achievement of the targets. Constructive criticism and kindness are the keys to successful accomplishment of targets.

Motivated staff remains committed to the organisation.
