Introduction

It almost does not matter where you are coming from, the feeling of returning home is priceless. Summer holidays are big holidays for a child because it gives happiness to those children who live away from their homes, meeting their family, friends and long holidays with lots of fun are main parts of these holidays. There are many people who travel home in summer holidays while returning home many people get afraid because of neurotic relations and other factors, but I was very happy to get back home this summer. After about 8 months, I headed home for summer vacation. I was very excited to be headed home, to reunite with family and friends, eat nutritious food again, and enjoy the marvelous beaches. I will spend almost 8 weeks at home.

Summer vacation gives students a longer period of time to relax also have fun. Some planned for a couple of weeks overseas trip with their families or friends, returning home two weeks later for computer games and then laze around at home or with friends. Students normally want to play hard after a tiresome academic year and leave all their studies until the following year (for others, they may keep electronic game gadgets under their beds). Returning home initially was a strange feeling for me. We call it reverse culture shock, but for it were so much shocking, as it were just strange. Coming home was exciting in some ways and unsettling in others. The whole experience of coming home did not feel real at first. The best way to describe it was that I constantly felt like I was dreaming and that, any second I would wake up and be back in school.

My home town is full of many cultures, and it was cool to see so many different looking people in the same area. At my hometown people look very similar. People seemed much heavier. Going into a store felt really strange. I could not talk to the cashier fluently. She would treat me just like anyone else. It was completely normal but felt really special. Seeing my family and friends was really nice. Most of them stayed exactly the same, but some had changed in pretty significant ways.
