Introduction

There is a very fine saying by Alan Lakein “Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now”. Life without a plan is like a journey to your destination without a road map which ultimately increases the probability of getting lost. Every one today focuses on the goals and objectives that they would strive for in the near future but the real planning not only engulfs the short term objectives but the goals of long run as well. Everyone have their aims in life so do I, however, the difference is that I have categorized my objectives in order to assign priorities and to clearly describe the roadmap that would lead me towards my destination. I have categorized my goals into four main classifications; short term personal, short term professional, long term personal and long term professional goals.

I have classified my life plan into four distinctive categories and have assigned priorities to each one of them. My short term goal of life is to be physically fit, because physical fitness is the proficiency of the human body to function with vitality and attentiveness, without excessive fatigue, and with plentiful energy to enlist in leisure bustles, and to cope with personal stresses" (Watson, 1999). Muscular power and endurance, cardio-respiratory integrity, and general alertness are the overt indications of personal fitness (Polit, D. Beck, C. 1999). Stress is one of the most significant factors considered to affect physical agility of a human being. If a person is adept to cope with the stressors, he is presumed to be fit (Watson, 1999). The grade of personal fitness can be leveraged by normal or methodical exercise. I have identified numerous exercises through which I can be physically fit and attain my short term personal goal, these exercises include: jogging, swimming, dancing and cycling. I can also attain physical fitness by participating at different sporting activities organized at school. However, there is one more thing which is very important besides exercise and sport to stay physically fit that is proper nutrition. Adequate diet is crucially significant to attain physical fitness, because we perform lot of tasks in our daily life and these tasks demand consumption of energy (Watson, 1999). If I follow proper diet plan, I would remain fit as the energy needed for the tasks would be efficiently allocated. To attain this goal I would develop a proper diet plan and also utilize my time management skills because in order to achieve my entire objective I will have to allocate proper time to them.

After my short term personal goal my second priority would be to achieve my short term professional goal. My short term professional goal is to become a certified medical surgical registered nurse (CMSRN).
