Truth

The truth is the quality of the material which is true. It is the conformity of the idea that it is real. It also consists of a strong legal judicial idea which works as a proof for the statement that it is true. Sometimes it is referred to in the context of truth of reality. But mostly it is referred with knowledge. An idea expressed can be false which has nothing to do with anything real or possible; it can be true corresponding to the real things. Often it is an expression lapse which makes the statement fall between error and truth. One theory of truth states that the idea should match with the real situation to be finally classified as truth (Schatz, 1967).

It can be said that truth is an affirmation of what is, or the negation of what is not, therefore it is, the agreement of our judgments with reality. The truth doesn't consist of the agreement of one's judgments with a reality outside one's minds, rather in the agreement of thought with itself, with one's own perceptions and the perceptions of other minds. Truth can be stated as something as an agreement of one's judgments of perception or understanding reality (Schatz, 1967).

It is necessary to avoid personifying the truth. The truth is a quality. According to William James, it is a part of reality, on the other judgments that are consistent with it; there is no third thing other than the truth. The truth is the character which makes certain judgments. As a result, truth is result from effort and research.

It is defined as the fit between reality and discourse. The formal truth, logic, mathematics is the agreement of the mind with its own conventions. The truth is the experimental non-contradiction of one's judgments, agreement and identification of one's statements about a given material. The reality of an object and its truth is distinguished through a value that relates to a decision (Lynch, 2001).

The meaning of the word truth extends from honesty, the good faith and human sincerity in general, to the agreement of knowledge with the things one say and reality. The truth is all consistent and in conformity with what it refers. Compatibility explains the position in which an obvious fact which has the occurrence of this fact. The compatibility means that this faith is real when it accurately reflects this reality (Lynch, 2001).

Nature of Truth

The problem of scientific truth is at the center of the culture. The experimental science would be the only valid access to reality. For others, the experimental science would be knowledge of second category which would be limited to discover rather superficial aspects of reality. The sciences study the 'how' and philosophy the "why." Thus establishing a division of functions that would ensure a peaceful and friendly coexistence between two forms of knowledge which, seen on different objects, could not resist.
