Introduction of the Organization

For this report Nestle Switzerland is chosen as an organization on which analysis will be done. Nestle is a Swiss multinational company. It deals with health, nutritional and consumer goods and it's headquarter is in Vevey. According to the revenues it is the largest food company of the world. Nestle has wide variety of products which includes baby food, cereal, mineral water, confectionery, coffee, ice creams, snacks, pet foods and dairy products. Nestle have sales turnover of around 1 billion dollars. Nestle has 450 factories all over the world and it is currently operating in 86 countries of the world. It has around 328,000 employees (Nestle).

Nestle was established in year 1905 by the merger of two companies. Those two companies are Anglo-Swiss Milk Company which was established in 1866 and Farine Lactee Henri Nestle; it was also established in 1866. Company is continuously growing since its establishment. It is also listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (Nestle).

The Vision of Nestle is to be leading Nutrition, health and Wellness Company of the world. In many countries of the world they are largest food nutrition, health and Wellness Company. They have professional, dynamic and motivated work force. They are proud of their heritages and future. They meet the nutrition need of their consumers. They cater to all ages means from infants till old age people. They provide highest quality branded food. They continuously play important and responsible role in environmental, economical and social sectors of the world.

Their mission is to enhance the quality of life of their consumers by providing them best quality food. Their aim is to provide GOOD FOOD GOOD LIFE. Their aim is to become leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company of the world (Nestle).

Case Study

As mentioned above the case study is about Nestle Company. This case focuses on the communication and intercultural issues which are faced by the middle managers of the company. Issues which are faced by big multinational companies in forming links communication ability of understand each culture. According to Pierre Listard, managing director of Nestle said that nestle it the only real multinational company existing in the world. It is because 98 % of the total revenues are earned from outside the Switzerland. Nestle comes under the 100 largest manufacturing company of the world. Nestle has team of intercultural top management that is working with its headquarter. In the top management the Swiss are in the minorities.
