Introduction

This paper will be discussing about a NGO working currently in Peru. The NGO I have chosen for this assignment is Bruce. Non-profit organization is an organization which, by its activities focuses on supporting the private or public rights, not aiming to generate profits. The action programs and organizational structures internal documents relating to an activity which is based on social work members.

The Value of Non-profit Bruce and its Services

The non-profits, charitable, and voluntary sector is important to the society. The labels used to distinguish these organizations from government and private-sector corporations reveal their merits: non-profit, accenting altruism and disregard of self-interest; charitable, referring to reliance on donations and generosity; and voluntary, indicating the significance of volunteers as a primary resource (Duflo & Esther, 2003).

Their importance is more than ethereal. They are powerful generators of social value for certain, but they also create economic value. In the United States, these organizations are exempt from paying taxes because of their contribution to the economic, social, and political well-being. They extend the capacity of government and the private sector to be more effective. They are significant employers. They intercede when the private and public sectors fail. And yet, like all organizations, non-profits shape and are shaped by the environment (Catholic Relief Services, 2006, website).

Basically non profit organizations mostly rely on funds, grants from individuals and associations to work for the betterment of the society.
