INTRODUCTION

In this world of cut throat competition many trends have emerged in the performance of an organisation in many sectors. These organisations range from the corporation of business and industry , to agencies of govt. , to non-profit and non-governmental organisation of civil society. These trends miss a major aspect i.e. Internal customer satisfaction , which is a central concern. Internal customer satisfaction in a broader perspective can be defined as how the company treats its employees and handles the complaints , which could be either a major or even a minor one. The study and actions taken against the complaints and whether that leads to the customer satisfaction. This means creating a motivating and healthy environment among the employees through training, feedback, rewards and encouragement for the betterment of organisation as a whole.

The project report deals with the study of the internal customer satisfaction at CIL, Induri. This study covers all the aspects starting from how the functional dept. views the culture and ethics incorporated by the HR Dept. to the satisfaction level of various officers as well as operators.

Cadbury Schweppes Overview

We are the world's largest confectionery company and have a strong regional presence in beverages in the Americas and Australia. On 15 March 2007, we announced that we intended to separate our confectionery and Americas Beverages businesses, and this process is currently underway. With origins stretching back over 200 years, today our products - which include brands such as Cadbury, Schweppes, Halls, Trident, Dr Pepper, Snapple, Trebor, Dentyne, Bubblicious and Bassett - are enjoyed in almost every country around the world. We employ over 70,000 people.

Our heritage starts back in 1783 when Jacob Schweppes perfected his process for manufacturing carbonated mineral water in Geneva, Switzerland. And in 1824 John Cadbury opened in Birmingham selling cocoa and chocolate. These two great household names merged in 1969 to form Cadbury Schweppes plc. Since then we have expanded our business throughout the world by a programme of organic and acquisition led growth.

Concentrating on our core brands in beverages and confectionery since the 1980s, we have strengthened our portfolio through almost fifty acquisitions, including brand icons such as Mott's, Canada Dry, Halls, Trident, Dentyne, Bubblicious, Trebor, Bassett, Dr Pepper, 7 Up and Snapple.

At Cadbury Schweppes our purpose is to work together to create brands people love. You are sure to be fans of at least some of our famous brands. We hope you enjoy finding out more about us.
