The comparison of the cultural differences, risks and difficulties could be done within the individuals of the U.S and Poland. Through the article that has been provided, it can be observed that various cultural differences or conflicts are present between the Poland and U.S organizations. Some of the difficulties that have been faced by the Polish employees within the U.S organizations are that of the promotions based on seniority, age and merit. These are few of the factors associated with the corporate culture that creates difficulty for the employees. The employees in the U.S organization whether at resource or managerial level are all satisfied with the hierarchy that is being followed within the company. According to the corporate culture of the United States, the employees in the organizations are usually rewarded on the basis of their key competencies and the performance towards their work. These employees are also promoted to the higher position due to their performance skills and competencies irrespective of their seniority, age and experience. It should be noticed that this criteria for promotion is considered to be main reason of why young professionals are leading older, senior and more experienced staff. The U.S employees are immune to this culture however the employees from the Polish organizations do not understand such hierarchy. Instead they criticize such organizational culture.

Similarly, the salary system is another important criterion where the polish managers face risks and are not able to admit the cultural differences that exist with the societies of the Poland and the United States. The confidentiality of the new salary system for the employees and particularly the managers is again something irrational according to the Polish managers. It is considered to be one of the major differences in the Polish and U.S professional managers as to what knowledge should be kept private and what should be disclosed to the employees. This belief largely hinders during the operations of the managers from two different cultures and countries. For the managers belonging to the Polish organization, it is important for them to remain aware of the salary structure that is being paid to other employees in their respective organizations. This will facilitate them to develop a social status within their minds thus it makes them to know about the exact salary structure of their fellow employees. However the beliefs of American employees completely differ from that of the Polish counterparts. The employees from the U.S organizations think salary structure as that of something very confidential and personal and it should not be disclosed to his or her fellow employees. According to them, it will destroy the family culture of their organization that is based on the faith of being rewarded through the appropriate system of assessment.
