Introduction

Social Responsibility is a concept which is referred to our actions and we must take responsibility for their results, namely the impact generated by our activities and decisions (personal and professional) in the social context. Among other dimensions that are addressed, we here focus on the responsibility before the law, human rights, environment, future generations, profession and the organization where we work. Social responsibility describes the duty of care that is corporations, governments, charities and institutions in general to the parties concerned. To maintain the trust of customers, employees, shareholders and a growing array of other stakeholders of the organizations, it is necessary to establish a meaningful relationship with them which integrates the responsibilities in decision making activities. In this paper, we will be discussing the treatment of poor orphans and children (Keating, 2009).
