Background of the research

The turnover generated by the pharmaceutical industry amounts to some $ 700 million in the third quarter of 2007 against 480 million USD in 2004, an increase of over 40% in three years, according to the report published by the "Association of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industries ", the organization that manages the area. The pharmaceutical industry now covers 97% of needs local cons, the country imports only high vaccine technology and innovative formulations of drugs. The pharmaceutical and the IT industry flourishing throughout the world. However, the noticeable thing in both these sectors is that the Asian countries putting a lot of hard efforts and these sectors growing at a rapid rate. Therefore, in this research paper the research statement of problem is to discuss the role and relationship between pharmaceutical and the IT industry in Bangladesh.

To analyze the role of Pharmaceutical and IT industry in Bangladesh's economy.

To find out the relationship of IT industry with the Pharmaceutical industry.
