Introduction

The population of Britain is increasing day by day, the major source in this regard tends to be the economic meltdown different countries are facing. As a result, people are moving towards more developed markets in order to craft a better living for themselves. Indian and Pakistani communities have been formed in the UK, as there is a migration history of these communities. People from these two countries settle in UK for a better lifestyle and future. Now the trend of migration from countries like Zimbabwe, Iraq etc is increasing mainly due to the war going on in their countries (Andriessen, Brunekreef & Roemer, 1998, p. 1995). They do not feel safe in their own countries, which is why they migrate to different countries, especially UK.

However, migration tends to lead the country towards many problems; one of such problem is the ability to accommodate the people coming in from different countries. It would be safe to state that this problem tends to lead a country towards an issue such as overcrowding. Overcrowding or overpopulation could be defined as a condition in which the number of people in a specific place exceeds the carrying capability of the place. The word overcrowding often pertains to the association between the population of human and their surroundings. The population of our earth has shown quite significantly growth in the past fifty years, primarily because of the advancements in the field of biology, and the significant advancements in the productivity from agriculture. However, in the context of the paper we intend to shed light on the Housing notions associated in the context of the London, Manchester and Liverpool, along with the effective evaluation techniques. This is done in order to develop an effective and efficient understanding of the subject.

A research in the year 1999 analyzed the possible negative effects of overcrowding on the health related issues of city like the development of a child, the health of the people, different diseases, etc. This paper will focus on the problem of overcrowding in London and would try to suggest some recommendations to deal with the impact of ...
