Question No. 1

With respect to the decision of (third party support r281 (v)) [2009] UKSC 16) that has been made by the Supreme Court supports the country's economy as the migrants from the other countries sometimes becomes burden on the economy. The section (v) of rule 281 that was passed in the United Kingdom was in line with the case of the immigrant who called his family members to the United Kingdom through the legal ways but was not able to support them in a way he should. There are many factors that might have been the reason for not possible to support his family members.

There are many perspectives of this case that has not only positive but negative impacts on both parties that is the immigrants and the country they are living in. The perspective behind making this decision and passing the law was to make use of each and every person present in the country. The government and Supreme Court of United Kingdom believes that all the people who are above 18 years of age should work and earn their living on their own so that they are neither considered as the burden on their families nor on the country. As the population above 18 years of age mostly make up the population of United Kingdom, if all the adults are working in the country, they will be earning and paying income tax to the government.

The government by making use of these taxes, will redistribute the income and spend money on the infra structure and other poor sections of the economy. The taxes paid by the people can also be used to alleviate the problem of poverty. This will help the country in developing it's infra structure and enhancing the economic activities that will benefit in the future. As it is a rule of the United Kingdom that all the individuals should start working after 18 years of age, this rule sometimes cannot be applied to the immigrants who have come from other parts of the world. Immigrants who spend some years are able to work and understand the atmosphere which helps them in settling there. When these immigrants start work and are able to pay taxes, they are equivalent to the natives. Since these immigrants are settled now, they start applying for their spouse and kids for the immigration. Some immigrants also apply for their extended family to make them immigrants of United Kingdom.
