In the modern interpretation environment, we now routinely interpret large 3-D seismic volumes efficiently and accurately, in terms of both conventional structure mapping and analysis of seismic facies and attributes. Using advanced workstation systems, we can rapidly autotrack many structural horizons (signal-to-noise conditions permitting), and can calculate and analyze many seismic attributes in prestack and poststack domains.
