ABSTRACT

In this research, we developed a project management plan for the development of a community-based maternal and child healthcare centre in the Chohla Sahib area of India. Having being born and raised in the same area, I found it necessary to come up with the idea because the existing condition of maternal and child health care in the said area had not been up to the mark. The said project is meant to ameliorate the condition of maternal and child healthcare facilities in the area and to help educate women of the said vicinity to equip themselves with the basic information regarding their own prenatal and postnatal health also to acquire the necessary information about their children's health and nutrition in order to live a healthier and happier life and live up to the standard of 'healthy moms for healthy kids'.
