Introduction

Referring to the details of the case there are a number of unresolved aspects of this case. The crime scene situation and past records of Sam and Kavon do not indicate a killing of the present nature. The role of Christina Simon and her involvement in Kavon's and Sam's relationship is yet another question mark. (Hanna, Cheryl 2006 Pp. 37-41.)

I am not guilty of murder. Sam was shot in pure self defense. That morning I slept late until about noon because I didn't get in from a recording studio until 5 am because I'm working on putting out a rap album. I got up showered and jumped straight into my 600 convertible Benz because I was headed back to the studio to keep cranking out some more songs. I didn't watch television, listen to the radio, talk on the phone, check my messages or nothing because I was in a rush to get back to the studio. While I am in my car I received a call from Sam. He said to me “how do you like that. Did you really think that you could get away with messing with me? You're lucky that I don't have you killed.” Sam hung up the phone on me when I tried to tell him to just chill. I called Sam's office back and he just picked up the phone and slammed it down and hung up when he heard my voice. At that point I took the quick drive over to Sam's downtown Manhattan office because it is only a few block from the studio. Once I got there I could see that his secretary was not at her usual seat at the front desk of the suite so I walk straight to the back to where Sam's personal office is. Sam was sitting at his desk and he said to me “what the hell are you doing here, I'm gonna bust a cap in your ass.” At that point Sam took out a gun from somewhere I can't really tell.
