There is more focus on human relationships, wisdom, dealing with isolation, and development of emotional stability. Finally, those individuals who adopt good health practices in their early and middle adulthood remain better off and healthy in their late adulthood.


It is true that individuals evolve through various stages in their life. These range from infancy, to early adulthood, to middle adulthood and finally late adulthood. These psychological changes occur as people are developing in their lives. As a result there is psychological adjustment in their lives. The focus in their psychology shifts from intimacy to isolation. Then, they also experience generativity and stagnation in their lives.
