Introduction

The study is related to the public health and the law which particularly focuses on the motor vehicle safety and the role of state and federal government. It is observed that in the recent years, state government in collaboration with the federal government have taken steps to improve the motor vehicle safety as it is one of the key factors that the government should consider for public health. For this reason, various laws have been developed like the laws relating to the driving license and over speeding laws etc.
