Introduction

The course of the study will discuss how individuals from different oppressed groups such as racial minorities, gender discrimination, age, or GLBT communities resist the existing social structures of the society. Furthermore, the study will also discuss the basis on which these individuals formulate into a larger group strategy of resistance. The primary rationale behind the resistance put-up by these oppressed groups is due to the state of self-deprivation among these individuals and lack of opportunities in the preexisting social culture.
