Public Speaking

Introduction

Appropriate and effective communications are essential if a person intends to put across his ideas, content and messages. The art of affectively conveying the message or your thoughts play a pivotal role in one's life. Unless you are able to make the other person understands your stance, your position both in argument and debate becomes weak.

It can also be detrimental if important information is bound to be conveyed to others, and when a person lacks the ability to send across the information with confidence and conviction, the real essence of the information is lost, and it can back fire the person or even the organization. Moreover, if a person lacks the art of proper and effective speaking, that too in front of a group, then not only will it result in miscommunication, but the inability will result in several psychological effects, such as anxiety, fear and the nervousness; and the information or content stemming from that anxiety effect will be total irrelevant and bear no connection with the subject. This essay encompasses the understanding of public speaking, its significance and advantages, issues causing the fear of speaking in front of a group, its significance in several forums and the analysis.
