Abstract

The health care industry of United States has become very much competitive and the demands and the requirements of the customers have also been increased. The increase in competition and the increase in the demands and requirements of the patients and clients have given the health care organizations a great challenge and a great responsibility. Particularly the challenges of quality management as well as risk management have increased. The health care organizations in today's era have now become more concerned towards the quality management and risk management. The organizations are developing the plans for managing the quality services and are utilizing various approaches to manage the risks related to the management and operation of the organizations. This paper aims at discussing the importance of service quality management and risk management and also it is discussed that how the quality and risk management plans can implemented in the healthcare organizations that can ultimately enable the organization to provide better services and to achieve success and growth among the competitors.

The increase in competition and the increase in the demands and requirements of the patients and clients have given the health care organizations a great challenge and a great responsibility.

The health care organizations are assumed to provide the quality services to the patients. Patients require that the health care organizations must meet their needs and requirements and must provide them better services as they require. The health care organizations have to face a number of risks. Providing the health care services involves risks that may have direct impact upon the patients and the quality of health care services that are provided to the patients. The risk management processes of the health care organizations also directly impact the human aspects.
