Introduction

Racial Discrimination is a system of inferiority and superiority. Inferior people have no respect in society superior people treat inferior with unfavorable behavior due to ethnicity, color, nationality, and religious belief.

“Nothing is black or white.” (Nelson Mandela) (King,, 2010). According to this quotation, this was quoted by famous leader Nelson Mandela. He fought and struggle all life for race discrimination. Black is equal as white man. He has no complex of inferiority. Whole world respect him including white man because he is special man (Patel, Rushefsky, 2008).

Discussion

It is not easy to promote and propagate equality in a culturally diverse society. Mainly because, it is rather tough to attain cohesion in the society or in any domain (for instance health and social care) in which the diversity exists on a massive scale. Moreover, the attainment of cohesion is tough, because of the preconceived notions that individuals hold with themselves regarding the other person's religion, ethnicity or culture. Prejudice, discrimination towards certain class and ethnic or religious group, also add to the differences in the society. However, over time the society has been successful in determining the factors via which the differences encompassing the cultural diversity can be overcome and the people belonging to health and social care sector may receive and render equitable services to the respective individuals.

The United States of America is facing ethnic and racial discrimination in the country. There are several complaints and feedback through which it could be identified that the black people and Indians are facing problems and difficulties accessing healthcare.
