“Early years of my life set the way for the future growth and development of my personality and achievements.”

For my family, the year of my birth was like the blossom in the garden. These years were the rough and tough time of our lives. As a family, we always stood together and faced every difficulty of life with joy and courage. These years nourished me and led my through my growth and development phase of my personality. It set the way for my life ahead, encouraged me whenever I felt weak, and its strong grip on my hand let me see dreams for my life and make them come true.

Being the oldest of the three, I assumed my responsibility towards the family. In my spare time, I used to work as a helping hand to my father. Along with the studies, I worked as a DC in a fast-food restaurant. Gradually I moved up to the ladder of life, passed through the phase of personal and professional development and now I look ahead to accomplish my dreams of life.

Happy times of a person's life start from the childhood till young adulthood where a person seems to be happy and enjoys life as long as his basic needs are met (Mcnaughton, n.d.). It was the summer season of the late 1990s, when I bore in this family. My parents assumed themselves as blessed men of God and were grateful to Him. I belong to an armed forces background my father is a retried militant officer. I am the oldest of the three siblings and the responsible son of the family. The early years of my life are like a bit of a sad story.

We lived in a small town of the countryside. When my father was away on his job, securing the territory of our country, my mother used to go to the fields and work for our living. In his absence, she was both my mother and father. She would make sure that I go to the school on time and do my homework regularly. It is difficult to live a life with one parent, and I can feel the pain of such children. Though I knew my father was out to perform his duty as a patriotic citizen but still it was hard for me to live those days, in his absences, my mother was my universe.
