Not the Way It's supposed to be: A Breviay of Sin

Definition of Sin

A sin may refer to an action or behavior of a person that is against the will of God. Religious scriptures and values clearly identify actions, considered as sins. The performance of sin directly relates to religious doctrines, as every sin has its association with moral and ethical values presented in a religion. There is a relation between God and human beings, when a person commits a sin, it weakens this relationship. This performance is not accidental but willful action by a human being against the will of God. When a person commits a sin or gets involved in an action, prohibited by religious practices, he is said to have going against the will of God and claims his independence from God. It may also be an attitude of a person, in which he declares that he is not reliant or accountable of God.

The origin of sin

Religious scriptures provide the eventful origination of sin. Almost Every religion discusses the story of Adam and Eve. These religious scriptures claim that God created human being as his representative on Earth. There are different stories associated in every religion in this regard. God created Adam, and through him, Eve, angels asked God as to why have you created a being that will spread mischief and shed blood on the earth. The God said, the best knowledge is with Him alone. These events are clearly mentioned in Bible. God ordered his angels to prostrate Adam, as he is wise among all creations. However, according to the scripture all angels prostrated to Adam except for one, the Satan. God expelled him from the gardens. Satan asked God to grant him permission to distract human beings from the right path, till the day of resurrection. Adam and Eve was peacefully leading their lives in heaven. Permitted to eat everything they find in heaven except the forbidden fruit, of a particular tree. Satan tempts them to taste the forbidden fruit, and as a punishment form the God they were expelled from heaven to live a life on earth. They were seized of themselves, the knowledge of good and evil, they were separated from each other and their notable deaths. Children of Adam inherited their sinful, rebellious nature from their parents. Every person born today is a sinner. The confidence and relationship between God and human being was destructed by Adam and Eve. Human demonstrated this willful disobedience at every aspect of their lives, but God never stops loving them (Cook, 2010).
