Lucys doctor suggest they go see a reproductive endocrinologist. The RE determines their problem may lie with 2 issues. James vasectomy reversal last year is causing his bodies to make antibodies to his sperm. But it can be treated with enzymes. Lucy has extensive endometriosis that needs to be addressed. 6 months go by and they are ready to start again. They try artificial insemination 3 times unsuccessfully. They switch to in vitro fertilization. 5 years go by but on their 4th try Lucy gets pregnant.
