Medical Assistant

I have (4) four years' experience performing routine medical office support in both administrative and clinical area. In the clinical area I was under the direction and supervision of a Register Nurse and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice participates in the delivery of patient care. I have performed vital signs, height measurement, EkG's, body composition and finger stick glucoses, Haitian Creole Interpreter and collecting specimens as directed. In the administrative area I have gathered patient's information for registration, schedule appointments, verify demographic and financial information and assist in the facilitation of patient flow throughout the ambulatory setting.
