A significant applied research marks as one of the major element of the Doctor of ministry degree making the project a sensitive one both in the context of the ministry theory and practice. A criterion has been designed by the Association of Theological Schools and the research project must meet the requirement as being highlighted in the criteria. The elements that are common to most projects were then studies and the findings are presented in the form of offer of practical advice in order to successfully prepare the elements. The conclusion is presented in the form of two observations, there is much more to be included in the philosophical background of the degree in order to provide it will a deal of progress and must have an identity that the scholarly world could accept.
