Carl Roger

Ranson Carl Rogers was born in 1902 in Oak Park, Illinois within a deeply religious family with strong Protestant convictions. It was the fourth of six children. Rogers has spent his childhood in an atmosphere of religious ethics and strict and uncompromising, as well as solitary. He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin to study agriculture, but impressed by a religious conference was attracted to this lifestyle, so they entered the Union Theological Seminary (Rogers, pp.136).

During the third year of high school was selected as one of twelve American students who would attend as delegates of their country by the Congress of the World Christian Federation in China. The reality is that after these attractions listed a number of opinions, concepts and ideas, it is worth examining closely, they represent serious threats to social institutions (primarily the family and school), culture in general and the person same (Rogers, pp.136).

"The best vantage point for understanding behavior is from their own frame of reference of the individual" (Rogers, Carl R. 1977: 419).
