Introduction

The security and safety of any establishment, whether economic, educational, sporting or industrial gives a spiritual momentum for the further production and creativity to those who work within this establishment. Therefore, the availability of security and safety is one of the motivations of creativity and production as this generates comfort and which in turn enables a worker, an employee or a student to become competent and creative. When we talk about an educational establishment, we mean the students themselves. They are the future men and the leaders. This pushes us forward to find all means of comfort to them so that they could master all the knowledge provided to them within this establishment, and the first of which is the security of such educational establishment and establishing the safety of this educational establishment.

Purpose

Following the threats of terrorism in the understudy region and with the recent event of the shooting incident in a Saudi school by the name of Al Bukhari Public Schoool, the purpose of this research is to highlight all the critical factors pertaining to the safety of the pupils in the school regarding the mentioned issues. The purpose of this research is to highlight the issues that are faced regarding the safety and security in public schools mainly in Saudi Arabia and discuss the relevant cases regarding it. Terrorism and disputes are global phenomena and place innocent people under threat. Educational institutions are vulnerable in terms of security and the lack of the ability to respond to any eventualities pertaining to terrorism. All the issues which can aid in the safety of students in schools will be highlighted and the security related aspects will be scrutinized in the light of the relevant cases.

Aims

The aims and objectives of this study are as follows:

To identify the variables related to the aspect of student's security in Saudi Schools.

To obtain key insights from the incidents pertaining to terrorism and threats in Saudi Schools.

To focus on the aspect of terrorism in the Middle Eastern Region.

To focus on the the factors pertaining to the changing psyche of the Saudi generation.

The scientific progress and education is not only confined to changing curriculum and teachers, but also includes the development of culture in several things, mainly the security and safety of educational establishment and this is one of my goals in this research.

Research Questions

The research would answer the following questions:

What are the salient points of the security and safety of educational establishment?

What are the causes behind the incidents of security that took place in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?

What would help in the development of security and safety of educational establishment and protection of the students?
