In the autobiographical publication, Angela's Ashes, the Author Frank McCourt battles the topic of scarcity and hunger as he develops up an Irish Catholic, in Limerick, Ireland.  McCourt expresses his sentiments and ideas of his sore upbringing by composing in first individual, present tense 40 years after the events.  He values setting, pitch, symbolism and imagery to recount the deprivation and hunger of his family.  McCourt's dad, Malachy McCourt, the antagonist, jeopardizes his family by his irresponsible which conceives consuming conceiving the conflict.  Frank McCourt was born in Brooklyn, New York.  His family shifted to Limerick, Ireland when ...
