The importance of placement stability for children is to develop healthy and secure relationships. It helps to serve and reduce the stresses that come from the displacement of multiple times. It does not only result from separation from parents but also separation from the siblings. Similarly it comes from relocation i.e. to any new geographical place. Many youngsters face disruption due to the removal from their homes that leads to distress and brings the sense of loss and not belonging. (Terling 2008, 111)

There are few studies that provide information about the personal perspective of youth and children in foster care. The course placements of children are far from uniform: As with any course of life, they are punctuated events, changes often impose conditions to review placement of the child. In order to improve placement stability in children care social worker must place a system that should monitor the placement moves children are dealing with. (Proch 2008, 309)

Helping a child to grow into happy and contributing adult may be the most satisfying experience of his life. Hundreds of children are waiting for families caregivers, who can accept and raise them and give them the stability that is so important for their development. It is often young foster children (under 10) who experienced a placement along one place and host (host families overwhelmingly). Links strong attachments have been forged with the foster family, their support is marked by a stability and continuity. Ties of daily life have taken precedence over blood ties and links right, without substitutes for each other. These children have a positive view of their course. The central problem of these pathways: the recognition of a kinship plural shared by the venue for the child and the parents of the child.

Theoretical framework

Social worker should re-examine the requirements for young children to change placements for administrative purposes, for example rigid deadlines in foster care or residential. Services must be coordinated primarily the flexibility of children meeting various wishes of cares and older can make this more likely to happen. A family and family life are important to us all especially for a child in the child welfare system. As you consider the adoption, remember to add a child to your family may be the most satisfying experience of life.
