Introduction

Statistical information on population health is the foundation of training solutions to improve the policy, the choice of priorities, defining a strategy for development of health in the country. Accordingly, the scope and content of all accounting and reporting activities should be based on a single concept of information security controls for health and medical care, consolidation of modern theoretical ideas about the formation of patterns of health, and its determinants. Common problems with statistics collection that are outlined in the book “Stat Spotting” places concern on strengthening the capacity of national statistics to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information, as well as the comparability of statistical information within the country (between regions) and in the international sphere.

For statistical science, which develops the methodology of statistical research, notable problem of data accuracy and data collection mode is highly relevant to improve the system of statistical indicators, methods and techniques for collecting, processing, storage and analysis of statistical information in today's technical possibilities (Best, 2008). It is of great importance for the development and efficiency throughout the life support system in the country, development of control systems in health and social services. Improving information systems raises the need for new approaches to the indicators used in health care. They should be simple, specific, universal and reflect changes in medicine and health (Hardin, 2011). The widespread use of complex meters and other public health statistics, of course, modifies the set, the volume and character traits to be recorded in medical records, which should be permanently improved.

Statistical Information Analysis

Statistical piece of information that is critically assessed in this research paper is the HPV prevalence among female youth in Montgomery County, Virginia. Significant statistical data about HPV infection prevalence in the female of Virginia has been extracted from Virginia Cancer Registry about sexually transmitted diseases in females of Virginia. National statistics data was retrieved from the UVCC statistics about cervical cancer in Virginia by histology and HPV type distribution. The information was collected by the University of Virginia Cancer Center through primary information collection modes. They contacted the hospitals, clinics, and medical centre present in Virginia and inquired them about the number of female patients who were diagnosed with HPV (UVCC, 2008). The age group selected for the study was filtered to multiple age brackets, with most notable concern on the young age group.

Human papilloma viruses (HPV) are a group of viruses that are transmitted by sexual contact. There are more than 120 variants of HPV viruses of these viruses that can infect humans; only 15 of them cause the formation of atypical cells of cervical epithelium, which can then be transformed into cancer cells. It is estimated that HPV infection accounts for approximately 5% of all cancers in the world. Worldwide, between 10%-15% women are infected from HPV (CDC, 2009). Statistics show that majority of women after the infection get rid of the virus within 6-24 months, and they do not even know (CDC, ...
