Stem Cell Research

Abstract

The purpose of this research paper is to discuss the Stem Cell Research. Stem cells are cells found in the body and have the ability to any division and transform into tissue cells to which they are applied. Stem cells have great potential in the medical aesthetic rejuvenation patients and improve their beauty and appearance. The restorative properties of tissue regeneration and treatment using stem cells allows the withdrawal time of 10 years. According to many religions and ethical systems, human life begins at fertilization. They claim that any intentional action to stop development after conception is considered as the destruction of a human life. Other critics have no moral problem with human stem cell research, but are afraid of a precedent for human experimentation. Stem cells are usually derived from bone marrow and blood, and more recently it has become possible also isolate them from fat.

Stem Cell Research

Introduction

Stem cells are cells found in the body and have the ability to any division and transform into tissue cells to which they are applied. In recent years, research is ongoing in vitro proliferation of stem cells from umbilical cord to increase the number of stem cells and to meet the need for a transplant. These studies are very promising and may allow future use of umbilical cord stem cells in gene therapy. Stem cells have great potential in the medical aesthetic rejuvenation patients and improve their beauty and appearance. The restorative properties of tissue regeneration and treatment using stem cells allows the withdrawal time of 10 years. In addition to their therapeutic properties, it helps us to eliminate discoloration and scarring, acne and hair loss treatment for different background. Fat grafts combined with isolated stem cells in order to improve the contours of the face, breast, and fill traumatic tissue loss (Panno, 2005).

Extensive research on stem cells began in the early twenty-first century, so we can consider these solutions as new in modern medicine. Nobel Prize in 2007 was awarded to Mario Capecchi, Martin Evans, and Oliver Smithies for stem cell research, which reflects the huge potential in this field of medicine.

Implications for Stem Cells

One of the most innovative latest researches in medicine is the potential application of stem cells to create tissues that can be used in medical treatments and surgeries. But until now scientists had failed transformation in tissue stem cells. The procedure of obtaining stem cells from adipose tissue involves collecting fat from a patient, and then isolating it in a special device and a special enzyme. In the next step, the resulting suspension of stem cells leads to the planned use of the procedure. Stem cells may have many clinical applications and could be used in regenerative medicine, immunotherapy, and gene therapy. Indeed in animals have been very successful with the use of stem cells to treat blood diseases, type 1 diabetes, Parkinson's, and stroke neuronal destruction. Stem cells are used to treat leukemia, neurological disorders, degenerative joint diseases and after injuries and ...
