Strategic Management

Introduction

Strategic Management tends to interpret itself as the progression to define and frame the organizational strategy. It tends to relate itself to the idea and the concepts or the paths which the managers take in order to guide the organization towards a success. Strategic Management, however, is defined in terms of the process which is ever evolving thus allowing the companied to stay alive in the market and compete with its competitors effectively and efficiently. Precisely Strategic management tends to set the path for the entire organization to follow in order to meet the set goals and objectives. However, Strategic Management tends to be divided into four major layers which will be discussed in the course of this paper.

However, the initial stage of the Strategic Management tends to analyze the external and internal factors which tend to influence the organization (Gregory, Lumpkin. & Alan, 2009). Thus the factors which tend to effect the overall environment of the organization should be assessed on a regular basis. After the factor are assed the appropriate is path is identified which needs to be followed in order to guide the entire organization towards achieving its set goals and objectives. This stage tends to involve the formulation of the strategies which caters to different departments of the organization. Strategy Implementation is the most important part of the whole process where the entire planning stands to be executed. This phase tends to hold an elevated importance since it allows the planning to either look god or it can destroy the processes prior to it if the strategy is not well implemented.

However, the final step tends to involve the strategy evaluation where the whole strategy is analyzed as per its spirit. In the context of this paper we intend to analyze the process of strategy implementation in the light of the Toyota's safety scandal.
