Discussion

Wireless communication is the radio communication between people (The Handset Handbook, 2011, 115-123). The wireless communication products, service and software has become a dynamic industry worldwide, because of the rapid development in the mobile technologies, and active dissemination of broadband wireless internet in the emerging markets of the globe. The market of computer hardware comprises of the three main segments: storage devices, devices and peripherals, computers. The segment of storage device includes hard disks, CD packs, memory sticks and various different devices of data storage. The devices and peripheral segment encompasses satellite navigation systems, calculators, organizers, PDAs and computer peripherals, the segment of computers consists of laptops and desktops. The RSP (Retail Selling Price) is used to calculate the market values (Livingston, 2008, 141-164). The CAA (Constant Annual Average) 2010 exchange rates are for any conversion of currency utilized in developing this paper. The market of wireless telecommunications services includes pagers, cellular (mobile) phones, and any other cellular or wireless telecommunication service (Alder, 2009, Pp. 3-24).

PESTLE Analysis:

Political:

Concerns over radiation from mobile phones: The impacts of radiations from mobile phones on human health are the key subjects of contemporary studies and interest, because of the considerable boost in the usage of mobile phones globally (Leiblein & Miller, 2003, 839-859). Within the microwave range the electromagnetic radiations are used by mobile phones. Different digital wireless systems like networks of data communication generate comparable radiation (Kovach, 2007). The world health organization (WHO) has defined the radiations from mobile phones in Group 2B on the IARC scale, which makes it probably carcinogenic. This implies that there might a risk of carcinogenicity; therefore further analysis into the heavy, long-term use of cell phones must be made (WHO, 2011). A number of national radiation advisory authorities are observed to propose measure to reduce contact of such radiation to human as an approach towards precaution. This propaganda (measures for precaution) adversely impacts cell phone manufacturers including BlackBerry smart phones by RIM (Leiblein & Miller, 2003, ...
