Substantive Law

A substantive law is the law that defines the principles, objectives, conditions, limitations, etc. which govern society and individual rights. For example a person has the right to express, but limited that right when it is against national integrity. A substantive law establishes the principles in detail as the law of procedure, the procedure for establishing rights.
