Executive summary

As the Company outlined in its strategic review in March 2010, and reiterated in recent public statements it is believe that Mitchells and Butlers will be able to identify and secure a number of interesting sites which can be converted to food led businesses to help us deliver one of our strategic imperatives of investing in the growing informal eating out market. Going forward the Company will be looking at sites where customers want to do business and this may well be in different locations to those where we currently have properties today.
