AutoREALM is an open source program designed to draw maps for role-playing games, mainly in fantasy settings. The program is similar to the commercial Campaign Cartographer. AutoREALM, in its 2.x series, is primarily written in Delphi and only works in Windows and WINE. The program is a vector art program that supports various graphics layers. The program supports various kinds of grids and measurement methods. It supports drawing vector objects with both straight and fractal lines, and has various line styles. It also supports grouping of objects into map symbols that are arranged in a symbol library. The library shipping with the program includes various symbols from contributors. The program also has some other modules, such as AutoNAME, a name generator based on context-free grammars. free Fantasy Role-Playing mapper software and a new GNU Community of Role-Playing Gamers. AutoREALM is a Free GNU mapping software (a "cartographer") that can design maps of castles, cities, dungeons and more. AutoREALM is generally used by Role-playing Game practicants who enjoy doing their own maps. But it could fits the needs of other people. BASINS 4.0 is an environmental modeling interface built upon the open source GIS MapWindow. The system contains tools to download data from the internet and can perform basic GIS functions to prepare inputs for modeling pollutant loading in streams. There is also a Windows-based Climate Assessment Tool, for assessing potential impacts of changing climate on stream flows and pollutant loads. BASINS 4 also has the ability to transfer and share GIS standard data (shapefile, dbf, and GeoTiff) between other licensed GIS software.

Installation software that contains the BASINS Version 4.0 system, data download tool, full documentation in the pulldown help menu, and the tutorial project and data (HUC-02060006) is now available.
