In Elwell's Evangelical Dictionary of Theology, B. A. Dermarest describes the concept of Systematic Theologyas the deliberate limiting of religious facts and truths to a significantly comprehendible level in order to make them more coherent and lucid for the entire church. It is, therefore, the classification and categorization of theology into different systems in order to aid the understanding of its various branches.
