ABSTRACT

The research study is based on the causes and reasons behind the late delivery of projects in oil and gas offshore plants in general and in UAE particularly. The research related to the late delivery of projects is an important issue that must be discussed in order to overcome the difficulties faced by the offshore plant. The management of the oil and gas sector are mainly concerned with the safe completion of the project and then the timely delivery of these projects is essential to the management of the project. There can be assumed many reasons and causes behind the late delivery of the project. However, the mostly observed reason and causes of the late delivery of projects in the oil and gas offshore is the number of technical staff that may not be up to the mark as is required. There are different reasons and causes that make the projects delivery of oil and gas late. The main reason of late delivery of oil and gas project is the number of the technical staff that is required to complete the projects. It is important that the technical staffs that are required for the achievement of certain task or target must be effective so that the delivery of the project can be made possible on time. The companies that are involved in the provision of the oil and gas offshore plants services always try to maintain better quality services and timely delivery to their customers.
