ABSTRACT

The main topic of the research is “The Effects of Poverty on Children's Emotional IQ”. The aim of the research is to find the effect of poverty on the children with emotional intelligence. The findings suggested that the relationship between emotional intelligence and social strata impact the children. The literature review was gathered from online scholarly journals and books. The methodology section is based on the primary data analysis. The main instrument of the research is questionnaire, which was send to all the participants online and offline. The analysis is based on the descriptive statistics by the help of SPSS. The finding suggested that the effect of poverty and socio-economic background on the emotional intelligence of the children is directly proportional to each other and it affect the attitude of the children mentally and physically. The research question suggested that there is having a positive relation between socio economic status and the emotional intelligence quotient. The analysis is based on theoretical underpinnings that validate the existence of intra-group differences within any racial group, socioeconomic status effects on multiple outcomes, and the presence of unexplained variance in emotional intelligence scores of individuals.
