During his childhood Abraham Lincoln's views on slavery were formed in his mind. He knew always that slavery was a known problem in the US. His views on slavery remained same for a particular time period but with the changing national political situation his viewed changed as well. He regarded slavery as an epidemic in society but it was accepted and known in the southern states.
